Straying With Street Dogs (A6)

Street dogs teach us how to be ungovernable. They challenge a colonial and anthropocentric worldview. They defy the order of things which places some of us - not all of us - at the center of managing the lives of others. These dogs together with our other more-than-human urban neighbours can show us how to coexist respectfully with other species. They can radically transform the path we walk on, guiding us towards less authoritarian relations. When setting up an assembly, we need to begin in a specific place, where we can theorize from the ground up. We need a "here", where we can meet, speak, think, play, leave each other alone, return, think more. We can then enter a respectful process in which embodied interactions, material interventions and other questions and answers can lead to a better understanding of what the dogs want.
