Now available in a larger A4 format, two volume set. The best of the zine considered by some to be the greatest UK zine of the time, (of ALL TIMES, in fact!) has been digitally remastered(!) from the original pages which survived all those years. A true insight into the language, the aesthetic, the humour, the anger, the emotions of the times and the places.

The glory days of tape trading, letter writing, and classified ads came about due to the explosion of punk and hardcore across the globe. In the UK a network of zines covering this exciting era also exploded, and few were more integral than Raising Hell. First published in 1983 by editor Ben Cooper and running into the 1990s, Raising Hell sat in a unique position as a zine which covered the cresting of UK82 and anarcho punk, through UKHC and the emergence of the truly global network of friends. With a hand made aesthetic and DIY righteousness, Raising Hell featured all the best in its pages from the UK and beyond.

Here's a list of some stuff contained within this two volume set:

With a backdrop of Thatcher’s Britain, punk music became self-sufficient and considerably more aggressive, blending a DIY ethos with activism to create the perfectly bleak soundtrack to the zeitgeist of a discontented youth.
